Meet Chris Hoeme
Chris grew up on the family farm near the Osceola/Eldorado Springs Missouri area. It is there he now owns and gives leadership to Diamond H Grass and Cattle Ranch, a young and thriving venture of a holistically managed herd of 40 grass-based angus cows and calf pairs. Chris' whole farm approach to raising cattle is part of a process that will result in healing the land from the soil up. Prior to holistic farming and cattle management, Chris was on staff at the Natural Resources Conservation Service, the NRCS. In 2015 he made the radical decision to leave his job in order to pursue his lifelong passion of owning his own business and returning to the family farm. Along this journey, Chris drew from the many engaing conversations he had with his longtime friend, Charlie Williams. Talks about authentic healthy food, locally grown and made goods, and a whole life wellness lifestyle. Knowing these are the precepts to a blessed life in general, they also became the elements that infused the vision for Chris and Charlie's Zoe Sozo's Market .
Meet Charlie Williams
Charlie was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana and grew up in the southern region of rural Mississippi, where his father pastored a small church. During his teenage years Charlie and his family moved to the farm outside of Osceola, Missouri where his father had lived as a boy. Following in his father's footsteps, Charlie in 2006 made the permanent move of returning to the farm in Missouri. There in the Osceola community he has also served as a youth pastor for 8 years. Although he still makes time for ministry, Charlie soon came to the realization that ministry has led him beyond the focus of the spiritual being. Taking him to equip others in nurturing a whole life approach of wellnes for the spirit, soul and body. The shepherd in Charlie has changed venues, and today he pursues personal healthy life choices, along the way he helps others to do the same. Charlie, as with Chris, not only entertained the idea of helping others with practical whole life resources; but together they switched gears from just talking healthy to building Zoe Sozo's Market. To Charlie, this is more than a business, he hopes to see you healthy and whole in your spirit, soul and body.
